Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Octera Premium. It forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service and EULA. Capitalized terms have the meaning given in those documents.

1. How billing works (via Stripe)

Octera Premium is sold as a subscription with payments processed by Stripe, acting as merchant of record. Stripe processes your payment, applies any required taxes, sends your receipts, and manages your billing and renewals. Your purchase is therefore also subject to Stripe's consumer terms. You can manage, edit, or cancel your subscription anytime from the dashboard (Account → Manage billing).

2. What you're paying for

Octera Premium is an optional purchase that unlocks premium features for your Discord servers. It is sold per server, and you can pay in whichever way suits you, unless a different price is shown to you at checkout. Billed monthly: US$4.99 (1 server), US$7.99 (2 servers), or US$9.99 (3 servers). Billed yearly: US$39.99 (1 server), US$63.99 (2 servers), or US$79.99 (3 servers). Or bought once as a lifetime licence, which does not renew: US$79.99 (1 server), US$129.99 (2 servers), or US$159.99 (3 servers). After you pledge, you choose which server(s) to apply Premium to from the Octera dashboard, and you can switch them at any time.

3. Automatic renewal

Monthly and yearly memberships renew automatically each billing period at the then-current price, using your payment method on file with Stripe, until you cancel. A lifetime licence is a single payment that does not renew and has nothing to cancel. By subscribing you authorize Stripe to charge the recurring fee for each renewal. You will receive reasonable advance notice of any price change before it takes effect.

4. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, in any of these ways:

• In the Octera dashboard, open Account → Manage billing and cancel or edit your subscription;
• By emailing support@octera.xyz and asking us to cancel it for you; or
• Ask us in the Octera support server and we'll point you to the right place.

When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and you are not charged again. Your premium features stay active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Canceling does not by itself refund the current period (see below).

5. Refunds

Because Octera Premium is a digital service that is delivered and usable immediately, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, except as set out here or as required by law.

We want Octera to be worth it, so we will provide a refund in cases including:

• Accidental or duplicate charges — for example, you were billed twice, or charged again after canceling.
• Service failure — premium features you paid for did not work for a sustained period and we could not resolve it.
• Recent, unused purchases — you contact us within 7 days of a charge and have not made substantial use of the premium features in that period.

Refunds are processed by Stripe and issued to your original payment method. Approved refunds are usually processed within a few business days, though the time for the money to appear depends on your bank or card issuer. We may decline refunds that fall outside this policy or that show signs of abuse (for example, repeatedly subscribing and refunding).

6. Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under the laws of your country or state, such as statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights. Nothing in this policy removes or reduces those rights — where the law gives you a stronger right than this policy, the law applies.

7. Free features are unaffected

Octera's core bot and its free features stay free and are not affected by canceling Premium. Losing Premium, or removing the bot, does not by itself delete your server's existing configuration; how your data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Chargebacks

If you think a charge is wrong, please contact us first — we can usually fix billing problems faster than a bank dispute can. Filing a chargeback instead of contacting us may result in premium access being suspended while the dispute is reviewed.
